Bob Rossi

Bob Rossi, with over 30 years of experience in the toy industry, started his career in the early 1960s as a magician.

Biography

Rossi performed not only at venues such as the New York World's Fair but also on television with appearances on the Johnny Carson Tonight Show, The Merv Griffin Show and a Westinghouse television special. As a result of his performances and his biographical writing for magic's top magazine he was offered a position in Japan working for a manufacturer that specialized in magic tricks, toys and puzzles.

Upon returning to the United States he then worked as a buyer of generic toys for importers. After about 10 years, having spent 3 months a year in Asia, he took a position as Import Manager and Seasonal Buyer for, the now defunct retail chain, Lionel Leisure. Over the years would work for Toys 'R' Us, Tyco Playtime (better known today as the Fisher-Price arm of Mattel, Inc).

He decided to return to the United States, after living in Hong Kong for 18 years, relocate specifically to Las Vegas and take some time off from the toy business. After a spell of leisure, travel and golf he decided to return to the toy business and started Moto Concepts, Inc. in 2003.[1]

Rossi was the producer of the World Magic Seminar.[2]
