Marcus R. "Van Reese" Henvit (1908-1994) was a professional magician in the Northwest United States.

Following high school he went to work for Northwest Assemblies Company of Minneapolis. He traveled and participated in school shows throughout the United States using the stage name "Van Reese."

He was a long-time friend of the pioneer mentalist C.A. George Newmann. A member of the IBM, he contributed the article, "I knew George Newmann," to the June, 1955 issue of The Linking Ring.[1]

Henvit also wrote a column in the 1970s for the Magical Bookie called "REMINISCENCES" about his life.
