Richard "Dick" Wehmeyer (fl. 1940s-1950s), under the title of "The Wizard of Ohms", did a traveling show for the Union Electric Company of Missouri emphasizing "safety with electricity" while entertaining with magic. He had a regular circuit of schools in Missouri, Illinois and Iowa, visiting each school every four years in the 1940s and 50s.
The show was patterned after General Electric's "House of Magic" and General Motors' "Parade of Progress".
He was president of IBM Ring 1 in St. Louis in 1944.
Wehmeyer placed an ad in the September 1961 issue of Linking Ring selling his equipment "because of retirement".
