The Blackstone Magic Company was founded by Percy Abbott and Harry Blackstone in 1928, in Colon, Michigan. The company and partnership lasted only 18 months, closing in 1929. Abbott managed the company from Colon while Blackstone toured the United States, lending his name and reputation to it.
