Urban Magic was a regional "street magic" special shot for Canada's Global television in 2000, starring David Acer, Richard Sanders, and Patrik Kuffs. The special, shot in three days with no rehearsal time and on a shoestring budget, still managed to generate buzz, but a difference of opinion between the producers, broadcasters, and talent on salaries, artistic control, and target audience ultimately squashed any projected follow-ups.
