Magic Academy of Sweden, a former Magic Organization that was started by Dr. Nils Simonson in 1962 and consisted of eighteen Swedish Magicians.[1]
The stated goal and purpose for the Academy was to advance the Swedish art of magic, through lectures, discussions and intellectual exchange between the members. To further the artistic level of Swedish magic by being role models, and to raise the public appreciation for magic.
This was accomplished by meeting at restaurants for dinner, where everyone was obliged to show one trick each.
