Goodliffe (1912 - December 26, 1980), born Charles Goodliffe Neale in Britain. He was a supplier of church furniture, magic creator and editor of the weekly Abra magazine and Goodliffe's Magic Monthly.
He published the work of several other magicians and adopted the new media of his time, the cassette, as a way to provide a record of magicians and magical events.
