Laurie L. Ireland (1898- April 27, 1954) was known for his skill in sleeving and billiard ball manipulations.

In 1925, he opened the L.L. Ireland Magic Co. in Chicago (which became Magic, Inc.) and met with his wife Frances Ireland.
He created the Multiplying Golf Balls and Otto the Duck (now called Joanne the Duck).
