Jimmy King (b. 1937 Warren, Ohio), raised in Washington D.C. area, was a photographer, professional magician,business man, inventor, clown, practical joker, artist, designer and mechanic.
King first became interested in magic when his father took him to Al's Magic Shop in D.C.
Jimmy married Gen Grant's daughter, Mary Anne in 1964 and joined Grant in the magic business.
In the magic production line King created such items as the Block Vanish Box, Captain Kidd's Treasure Chest, the Crystal Card Watch, the Imperial Rice, and Orange and Checkers.
When Grant retired, King took over the business and it was renamed Mak Magic.[1][2] In 2009 it was being run by Mary Ann King (Gen's daughter) and Jimmy P. King (King's son).
