Tilt! is a manuscript written by [[Edward Marlo]] in 1962 exploring the use of the [[Depth Illusion]] technique created by [[Dai Vernon]]. The begrudging credit to Vernon in the preface of this booklet is the only time Marlo ever mentioned Vernon's name in connection with the technique. Marlo renamed the technique "[[Tilt]]" and published many applications of it after that in a canny effort to associate it entirely with him. Even to this day, many magicians mistakenly refer to the move as "Marlo's Tilt" rather than "Vernon's Depth Illusion."
