The Legerdemainiacs was a New York City group in the 1930s or 1940s of Abe Hurwitz's proteges.

It included George Sands, Jerry Bergman, Stan Burns, and Harry Rifas. Some youngster at the time who were allowed to hang out with them were George Schindler, Howie Schwarzman, Al Goshman, Ken Krenzel and Danny O'Brien.[1]

Hurwitz would later form the Peter Pan Magic Club.
