Nelson C. Hahne (1909-1970) was an illustrator for many books and magazines with Modern Coin Magic being one of his most well known. He graduated from the University of Dayton with a BS degree in Commerce.

Hahne did the illustrations for the Linking Ring Magazine for many years.

He also helped write a few books Modernism in Pasteboards and Smart Magic with Ralph W. Hull as well as Here's Magic with Joe Berg.[1]
