Eliaser Bamberg (1760 - 1833) was one of the greatest magicians of his time and the start of the Bamberg dynasty of magicians.
Biography
He was severely wounded by the explosion of a powder magazine on board a man-of-war ship, which required his leg to be amputated.
Eliaser's son, David Leendert Bamberg, succeeded him as another successful magician. [1]
