Traddles (1904-) was the part-time professional magician, Richard S. Silvis, who began performing in 1921.
Biography
Silvis was a principal at South Huntingdon Township High School at Mendon, Pennsylvania. He served as solicitor for the Borough of Hunker for 26 years. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and a graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law. He was also a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S.Marine Corp.[1]
He specialized in silks, cards, coins, illusions and ventriloquism and was a member of S.A.M. and I.B.M..[2]
He received his 25-year emblem from the IBM in 1956.
