Dolf Rudin (1906-1993), who worked at Warner Brothers Foreign Department synchronizing pictures in French, Italian and Spanish, gave several full evening shows for charity in Vienna.

Biography

Rudin first became interested in magic in 1929 when he saw an amateur perform at a party in Vienna and then became a pupil of Ottokar Fischer.

He came to America in December of 1938 and moved to Los Angeles in summer of 1939. He became an American citizen, served in U. S. Army, and legally changed his name to Dolf von Rudeen.[1][2]

A member of IBM Ring 21, Hollywood, California, Rudeen had been a regular performer at the Magic Castle with his own version of a Cards Across routine as his "signature."[3][4]
