Platform magic?

In http://geniimagazine.com/magicpedia/Ron_Bauer#Private_Studies_Series, it lists "Close-Up","Parlor", "Platform","Stage". What do you consider to be the difference between Platform and Stage? Joe P. 10:35, 28 December 2014 (EST)

Joe, I'm not sure how to respond other than editing this.

• Close-up: You're sitting
• Parlor: You're standing
• Platform: You're on a raised platform
• Stage: You're on a stage

Apostrophe

While I was on the server. I made a change that should make adding possessives to a link easier. So this [[Don Alan]]'s Ranch Bird should be the same as [[Don Alan|Don Alan's]] Ranch Bird

Categories

I'm not sure I like moving the list of publications from the main article like Kaufman_and_Greenberg to their category like Category:Books_published_by_Kaufman_and_Greenberg. I need to think about it and see how Wikipedia does it. I think categories are only meant to contain those links of pages at the bottom, with possibly a short introduction. I think I like the list of books in the actual article and only use the category to list automatically list related pages. Going to put them both back and see how they look. Joe P. 08:19, 25 January 2015 (EST)

Hatnotes

I like the new hatnote temmplate, but I think I'm going to follow Wikipedia guidelines http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Hatnote#Examples_of_proper_use in that they should only be used to help with disambiguation. All other reasons should use another template ("Main" or "otheruses" or "see also") and not be at the top of the page. Addition to person infobox

What do you think of the new "categories" to list the "Books by xxx" in the person infobox, like on Ron_Bauer? It should only show a link if the person has books categorized in MagicPedia. Joe P. 10:07, 27 January 2015 (EST)

I like it... I can't think of an easy way to do it, but maybe we should somehow clarify that it's only books that have their own MagicPedia page? I know that's what "Category" means, but some readers might not... What do you think? Roatc 10:19, 27 January 2015 (EST)
