Martin Lewis (b.1947-d.2022) was the son of magician Eric C. Lewis and took over running Magikraft Studios that his farther started in 1934. [1]
Biography
He emigrated to the United States in his twenties (1968). He created a number of effects including Sidewalk Shuffle and worked at Earthquake McGoon's Magic Cellar in San Francisco and on cruise ships.
David Copperfield, in his 1991 and 1994 Television specials, featured effects from Martin's book Martin's Miracles.[2][3]
Martin was a member of Harry Anderson's Left Handed League as a Magic Consultant. When busy he would hand off an engagement to a fellow member of the League (sometimes at three times the regular fee!)
