Donald Bevan (b.1933) was the editor of Abracadabra weekly magazine, for more than 40 years, until his retirement in 2007.

Biography

He served as president of the British Magical Society in 1999/2000. He is an Honorary life Member of the Magic Circle and a Fellow of the British Magical Society.

To honour his 90th Bithday the British Magical Society inaugurated the Abra Competition where contestants perform a trick that was described in Abracadabra.

Awards
