Lloyd Wasser (b.1960) edited (and partially wrote) the Silver Wand Club newsletter The Wand (also called Inner Circle) in Toronto in the 1970s.[1]
Biography
Lloyd started in magic after watching the hit 1975 television series "The Magician" starring actor Bill Bixby (also famous for his role as Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk TV series). Using the resources of his local library, Lloyd studied the history of magic and built many of his own effects as a result of his studies.
Lloyd performed with the Silver Wand Club at a number of venues during the time he was active in the club, including a summer outdoor performance before several hundred people at Harbourfront Centre on the Toronto water front. He and friends Ari Saroka and John Thomson also performed several times for the children at the Hospital for Sock Children in Toronto.
