Jimmy Muir (?-1972) was an Honorary Life Member, a Past President of P.C.A.M. and a member of the Oakland Magic Circle for forty years.
Biography
A son of a minister, lived most of his life in the San Fransisco Bay Area. First as a hotel man and later as a booking agent. In early PCAM days,Caryl Fleming, Ed Saint, the Larsen family and Mrs. Houdini always stayed at his hotel, the St. Mark.
His Laugh Lines was a popular series (the first edited by Fred Braue).
He died after many years of a heart condition, with a long siege of one pacemaker after another. He willed his body to science.
