Captain Charles Howard (?-1949) was one of the original members of the I.B.M. and a founding member of the Vancouver Magic Circle.

Biography

As a youth in England he watched Maskelyne and Cook at the Egyptian Hall. He served in the First World War as a captain on the Western Front.

Howard was an I.B.M. District Representative for many years and he has also been on the Board of Governors of the P.C.A.M. He was also a long standing member of the S.A.M. with the San Francisco Assembly.

Early in 1942, jointly with W. C.Shelly and others, he founded the Vancouver Magic Circle in his home town of Vancouver, B.C. and became it's first President.
