Masao Atsukawa (1932? - 2009) was a Japanese close-up magician and well-known crime novelist.

Atsukawa was one a student of Tenkai and was awarded the Tenkai Prize in 1969.

He was awarded the Izumikyokasho literary prize for his mystery writing and the Naoki Award (Japan's highest award for light literature),
