Stand up magic is perhaps a step up from Close-up Magic, and a step down from Stage Magic. The magician is usually not on a raised platform, but stands up while the audience sits. This is the setting for the usual Living Room show (formerly called Parlor Magic), Birthday Party Show, or After Dinner Entertainment. It is not Street Magic, because it is usually performed indoors to a seated (and mostly captive) audience.
