Fred Robison (1888-1945) was a semi-professional magician on the east coast, starting in 1910 and later a printer.

Biography

He specialties were ventriloquism (with his dummy "Jerry"), Punch and Judy, Rag Pictures, and comedy magic.

Robison was a member of S.A.M., I.B.M., and I.M.C.[1] He worked many of the early national S.A.M. and I.B.M. meetings as well as other magic gatherings.

After retiring from show business, he owned a successful printing business and magic shop in his home town. He printed the "Conjurer's Chatter" which was the house publication of Stuart Robson's Conjurer's Shop in New York.

A long time friend of Bill Neff, Robison died of a heart attack after just finishing a performance at a theatre in Sykesville, Pennsylvania.[2]
