Hubert L. Lea (c. 1884-1938) was an editor of the Magic Circular.[1][2]

Biography

Lea joined the Magic Circle in March 1906 and was promoted to A.I.M.C. in 1909 and then to M.I.M.C. in 1911. He was honored three times by selection for the programm of the Grand Seance (1912, 1914, 1919). He was made an Hon. Vice-President in August 1927. In 1915 he took over the duties of editor of the Magic Circular from Sidney W. Clarke.

Lea was also a member of the super secret Council of Nine.
