Joe Barnett (1900-1989), a lawyer, was Dean of SAM Parents Assembly #1.[1]
Biography
Barnett joined the SAM in 1943 and wrote about the New York Magic Table in his MUM column "Around the New York Magic Table" from 1966 until 1987. Magicians from around the world came to visit at the Table where Joe served as host and dean.
He was also an accomplished photographer, a violinist and an expert trout fisherman.[2]
