Round about our Coal-Fire: or, Christmas Entertainments was a very popular book that was written regarding Christmas. Although its history is obscure, it is known that it had multiple editions (at least 4). It was first printed in the early 1700s in London and contained 52 pages. The author seems to be anonymous. The book contained a chapter on magic history, mainly about past magicians, and it may have contained kid's party tricks.
