Midwest Magic Jubilee is an annual magic convention held in Missouri. Founded in 1956, by Society of American Magicians, (Assembly 8) and the International Brotherhood of Magicians, (Ring One St. Louis). It originally switched locations each year from St. Louis to Kansas City, though currently its permanent home is in St. Louis, which is also the headquarters (Ring One) of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. | |||
Hosting approximately 150 to 250 attendees, it comprises a mix of magic lectures & demonstrations, and magic stage & close up competitions, evening magic shows bringing in professional magicians from all over North America, and dealers from all over the world. | |||
It is said to have been Dai Vernon's favorite convention, as he attended several times. His Midnight lecture was something to see. | |||
Many of the following stare & close-up magicians have appeared at the Midwest Magic Jubilee in St. Louis and Kansas City since it began in 1957: If you have never been to the Jubilee, this is one thing you should attend. | |||

Midwest Magic Jubilee is an annual magic convention held in Missouri. Founded in 1956, it originally switched locations each year from St. Louis to Kansas City, though currently its permanent home is in St. Louis, which is also the headquarters (Ring One) of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
Hosting approximately 1000 attendees, it comprises a mix of magic lectures, demonstrations, and competitions, bringing in professional magicians from all over North America, and dealers from all over the world. It is said to have been Dai Vernon's favorite convention.
The 50th anniversary event took place in August 2006.
