Matt Adams (1981- ) is an illusionist currently residing in Alabama. Adams travels worldwide performing illusion shows and sharing a gospel message at the end of his presentations. Adams is known as a Christian illusionist as opposed to a gospel magician.

Biography

Born in Winter Garden, FL, Adams moved to Alabama when he was 9 years old. His mother bought him a magic set from Toys R Us shortly after the move and Adams's magic career took flight. Through high school, he focused more on classical piano performance than magic; but magic was always an underlying interest. In college, he did a few card tricks for friends but focused on electrical engineering as a career choice. He became the first "pavement performer" at the local Bridge Street Town Center in Huntsville, AL in late 2007. Adams was also the resident magician at Bridge Street's Melting Pot for a short time.

In 2021, Adams left engineering entirely, opting to become full time in magic performance.

Adams has produced multiple shows including Connections, Tick Tock, and Sensational!

Awards and Honors

He has produced multiple viral videos, been published or mentioned in many current and former magic publications, been published in many local newspapers, and has won various local awards. Outside of magic, Adams has performed as guest soloist with the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra on two occasions. He has played on AL Public TV twice (Pianists at Work). He's run a marathon and multiple half marathons. He's also earned a black belt in Taekwondo. Adams has traveled through 40 countries and adds new countries every year.
