Ireland's Yearbook was a yearly periodical from the Ireland Magic Company in Chicago.
The tradition of the Ireland Year Book series began in 1934 by Laurie L. Ireland. He followed in annual sequence, with the 1937 issue reflecting the work he was doing at that time. They included tricks and historical facts.
He never asked for contributions to the early Year Books, but as they continued to be produced, fellow magicians offered routines and tricks they had designed or invented and thus it was, as time went by, that the Year Books contained the material of other performers.
The complete file of Ireland's Yearbooks consists of 31 yearbooks starting in 1934 and ending in the final issue 1969-70. The Yearbook was not issued in 1939 nor in 1941.
Magic, Inc., built on the foundation of the Ireland Magic Company, decided it would not be practical to reproduce the early year books in the same manner.[1]
