Joe M. Turner (b. November 23, 1969), is a professional magician, mentalist and speaker based in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been a member of the Genii Magazine staff since January 2000 when he began writing video and DVD reviews alternating months with Matthew Field. He now shares video review responsibilities with Dustin Stinett.

Turner's pre-magic career included a degree in education and extensive corporate experience in human performance improvement, instructional design, and training. He also worked as a professional actor, primarily in musical theater. He combines his corporate, stage, and illusion skills in his magic career; he performs at meetings, trade shows and corporate events, and delivers a selection of magic-infused keynotes and seminars.

In addition to his work on Genii, Turner serves on the Executive Committee of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He is also a member of the Society of American Magicians, the Academy of Magical Arts, and the Magic Circle (AIMC with Silver Star).

Turner is married and has two children.[1]
