Harrison "Red" Baker (1930-2005), who lived in Los Angeles most of his life, was an amateur magician, comedian and comedy writer.

He was an author, or co-author, of books on the subject of MC material, one liners, dialogue and patter, he was called to the Air Force in the 1951. [1]

Growing up with Bill and Milt Larsen, He was active in the local magic clubs. With Milt, they started the Comics Information Service while in their teens, publishing comedy booklets. He assisted Orson Welles and Ormond McGill and performed at comedy clubs, college campuses, and in films. He wrote jokes for Steve Allen, Mae West, and "Truth or Consequences."

Baker starred in television pilots and recorded a comedy album for RCA.

He was an avid film collector, cataloging the "Mystic Craig" magic films and showing them at the Magic Castle.[2]
