Modern Magician's Hand Book
Modern Magician's Hand Book was a book by William Hilliar published in 1902.
Hilliar listed himself as the "author", but the only part he may have actually wrote was the small section on hand shadows (a reprint from his 1900 booklet). The rest was taken from Downs, his book for Thurston, Hoffmann's Modern Magic, More Magic, Roterberg's New Era Card Tricks and material from Selbit's recently published book with the same name "The Magician's Handbook".
It carried an Introduction by Henry Ridgely Evans, but Paul Fleming later stated in his Book Reviews, "It was not a good book."
