Thomas Denton (? - July 1, 1789) is known for translating Henri Decremps' La Magie Blanche Devoilee and Chevalier Giuseppe Pinetti's Amusements Physiques.

Denton had been a metal worker and bookseller in Yorkshire before opening a book shop near London. He took an interest in conjuring, translated books to English and also constructed several mechanical deceptions, which he exhibited throughout England.

He came to an untimely end when executed in 1789 for having coin counterfeiting equipment.
