Jules Danby (?-1947) published 'The Silver Tube Illusion' in Magic Wand (April 1919) which later became known as the Ghost Tube.[1]


He invented his Silver Tube Illusion during the War while entertaining the troops in France in 1916. It was later put on the market by Norton and Bretma as the "Ghost Tube"[2]
