L'Illusionista, a monthly magazine, was the first Italian magazine about magic.

Published by Peloso & Capurro, Genova Via Cairoli, 7 pp. Director: R. Ardito. (August 1890 - August 1893). All the publications can be summarized in two series: the first series of 9 issues (8 & 9 is a double issue) from p. 1 to 64 that had the size 19 cm x 26.5 cm, 8 pages in the magazine. The second set is in 6 issues from p. 1 to 96 (January 1892 - August 1893), size small compared to the previous and a double numbers of pages (16) in every magazine.
