Professor Mars (c.1887-1971), once known as "The Welsh Wizard", seems to have originated from Blaenavon, in South Wales. He was the first magician who Ken de Courcy ever saw.

Biography

He later lived in Shrewsbury, Worcester and Liverpool; maybe other places as well. In the early 1960s he was living in a caravan in Buxton, Derbyshire, reputedly the highest town in the British Isles, and was a member of the Matlock Magic Circle.
