Washington Wizards was a magic club (and magazine) in Washington D.C. formed by Al Cohen of Al's Magic Shop in July 1976.
It was also the name of their type-written monthly Newsletter which also began in July 1976. The newsletter gave information about who was performing and lecturing in the area as well as new tricks and book reviews. The newsletter (though less than periodic at times) ran at least until 1994.
