Lloyd P. "Boe" Bowen, along with his wife, performed an illusion show as "Boe and Betty" in the 1930s in and around Cleveland, Ohio.

Biography

Also performing as "The Great LLoyd"[1], Bowen was a member of the S.A.M. Chicago Assembly.

There are various reports in the Seven Circles and The Sphinx magazines of "Boe and Betty" performances. From "The Billboard" (May 25, 1935).. "put on a matinee performance of magic for 3,000 high-school students and a full evening’s show at the Kellogg Auditorium, Battle Creek ,Mich. The night show ran two hours and comprised Oriental magic and numerous large illusions. Some of the Illusions were put on exhibit on the street for inspection of the public."

Reports in magic magazines seem to stop after 1937.
