C. H. Larette (1889-1943) was successful manipulator, first with silks and later with coins, cigarettes and cards.

Biography

Larette emigrated in 1920 to Holland and performed in other European countries. He establishes a Magic Studio in Amsterdam and began publishing catalogs in 1937

Gestapo came to the house and magic shop in Amsterdam in 1943. Believing they had come because of him, he committed suicide in panic.
