Lucille P. Saxon (?-1948) trained as an assistant for Harry Blackstone and later entered field of magic for herself.

Biography

A graduate Columbia University, majoring in chemistry, she was a member of many magical societies and held important offices in each. After graduation from college, gave up scientific pursuits to be trained as an assistant for [[Harry Blackstone]].

She managed Max Holden's Philadelphia magic shop in the 1940s.[1][2] While in Philadelphia, she helped organize the Sorcerer's Apprentices, a club for teen age youths,. She also authored many articles in magical periodicals.

Saxon was also well-known in the field of marionettes and puppets also. During World War II, she performed in Service hospitals.[3]
