Magic Square
Magic Square consists of a series of numbers arranged in a square in such a manner that the sum of each row, each column and of both the corner diagonals adds up to the same amount, referred to as a "Magic Total".
Magicians have created routines constructing magic squares from any given number. The magical effect can also comes from either the speed at which the magician can construct the magic square or with the "magic total" matching a predicted number.
Royal Vale Heath contributed the chapter on Magic Squares to Hilliard's Greater Magic.
