Christ Force
The Christ Force, also know as the 203rd Force, is a method of forcing a card while the deck is in the spectator's hand. It was developed by Henry Christ and described first in Sh-h-h-h---! It's a Secret, page 41, written by Ted Annemann in 1934.
The force as it appears to the spectator is that the deck is placed on the spectator’s outstretched hand. He is asked to cut the deck anywhere with his other right. Explain that you are going to use a card taken from wherever he cuts the pack. The moment he cuts off the top portion, take it from him, turn it face up and drop the entire packet face up on the cards remaining in his left hand. Say, "We’ll mark the cut in this manner. Hold them tightly for a moment until we are ready to see what we have selected." Have the spectator remove the face up packet and turn over the card on top of the face down packet.
It requires a special card and was called the 203rd force after Ted Annemann thought he covered ever conceivable force in his book 202 Methods of Forcing.
This inspired the Cut Deeper Force, which uses a normal deck.
