Andrew Pinard
Born1969

Andrew Pinard is a New Hampshire-based performer with a BA in Music from Plymouth State University.

With a background in music and theater, he taught theater for five years at Pembroke Academy in New Hampshire.

He has been a full-time pro since 1991, performing stage, family, festivals and fairs, corporate and resort markets. Pinard ran New Hampshire's only magic shop (Absolutely Magic) for six years (1991-1997). He is also a creative consultant for stage, film and television.

In October 2008, he oversaw the production of his original "magi-musical" Fantasmagoria Cabaret. In addition to a busy public performance schedule, Pinard has contributed to the magic industry in video, print and as a consultant. Locally he has served as a Selectman to the Town of Bradford, NH and currently represents Bradford on the Kearsarge Regional School Board and the Bradford Zoning Board of Adjustment.

Affiliations: Society of American Magicians, International Brotherhood of Magicians, New England Magic Collectors Association & The Conjuring Arts Research Center. Lifetime subscriber to Genii.

Served as adviser to the Society of Young Magicians Assembly #1 for four years. Held local offices in Society of American Magicians and International Brotherhood of Magicians. Served as Regional and NH National Deputy for Society of American Magicians for over a decade.

Taught magic at Kearsarge Arts Theater (summer program 1998-2000, 2009, 2010). Technical director and Lighting Designer for KAT, 2009-2011.

Received two awards at the New England Magic Competition, including first place in 2000. Recognized by New Hampshire Magazine as NH's Best Magical Entertainment in 2002.
