Around the World with a Magician and a Juggler: Unique experiences in Many Lands From the Papers of the late Baron Hartwig Seeman "The Emperor of Magicians" and William D'Alvini, Juggler "Jap of Japs" by H. J. Burlingame published in Template:Book.


The book contains:

  • Reminiscences of Baron Hartwig Seeman. Anecdotes include his performance of a remarkable bullet catch in Egypt.
  • The story of the magician/juggler, William D'Alvini.
  • A reprint of psychologist Max Dessoir's monograph on the psychology of conjuring (with added references by Burlingame to mediums).
  • A brief chapter on the Bellachini (1828-1885), court magician to Kaiser Wilhelm the first.
