Barry Glassner, a magician, nationally-known sociologist and author, is president of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
Biography
Glassner grew up in Roanoke, Va., where he became such an accomplished magician in high school that he was able to pay for part of his college by performing.[1]
As a teenager, Glassner published two issues of Top Hat Bulletin for the Magical Youths International, which he also served as president in 1969.[2]
