Barry H. Wiley (1936-2018) was a noted lecturer and writer on the history of stage mind reading and spiritualism.[1]
Biography
Wiley did gigs at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, at the Magic Circle in London, the Los Angeles Conference on Magic History, as well as the annual meeting of the Psychic Entertainers Association.
He was also a prize winning author of mystery stories.[2][3]
He received a Bachelor in Physics at University California, Berkeley, in 1958 and then a Master of Arts in Physics at University Southern California, Los Angeles in 1965. Also received a Master of Business Administration at Harvard University in 1967.
Wiley was a plant manager at TRW Semiconductor in Lawndale, California from 1967 to 1972. He served a President of Tympanium Corporation, Woburn, Massachusetts from 1972-1980. In the 1980s, we was a Manager of strategic marketing at Unitrode Corporation in Lexington. He was also a Vice president of marketing and sales at Cherry Semiconductor Corporatio in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, beginning in 1985.
Wiley was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1958 to 1961.
