Ad in Linking Ring, December 1930

Invented in 1924 by Hans Trunk as "Das blaue Wunder" (The Blue Wonder).[1] It was marketed by Ottokar Fischer in 1924.[2]

Thayer sold a very popular version as "The Blue Phantom" starting in 1930.[3]
