The Blueprint was a magic periodical from Australia put out by Barry Govan and Ian Baxter "to satisfy the appetite of the Close-Up Magician", starting in July, 1974.

Govan and Baxter handed over editorship to Murray Cooper and Gerry McCreanor with issue Vol 5, No. 6 (Dec, 1978).

The magazine was printed on blue paper with black (except for the xerox copy issue the editors did as a gag for Vol. 4, No. 3). At first THE BLUEPRINT was run off on a duplicating machine, and it wasn't until five years later that the monthly sheet was printed offset.

Issues included Vol. 1 No. 1 to at least Vol 7, No 10 (April 1981).

Some volumes had been reprinted.
