Bob Hurt was a wonderful magician and clown. This short bio is taken from the 1977-1978 Directory of Bob Hurt Ring 219 in Lafayette, Indian, where he was a charter member. While attending Shortridge High of Indpls in the early twenties I was able to see Houdini; Thurston and Blackstone. In the late forties and fifties my wife Velma and I made or living from the Magic Circuit mostly School assemplies. Two and Three a day. After becoming affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Magicians I had the pleasure of first serving that organization as State Representaative of Indiana and thru that many other offices. In 1972 I was elected by the membership to be there International President. I would not take anything for the experience; enjoyment and the many Magical friends that I have met in the past 63 years. I have been a clown since 1912. You can readily see that a few words I was unable to spell, could not even find them in my dictionary, so help me out ... ... ... ...@
